Purge Drawing

This command is used to transfer drawing resources (title blocks, borders, etc.) from a template file to the active drawing, and to remove unused local style definitions from the drawing.

Drawing Template

The button next to the text field opens a file browser dialog that allows you to specify the template file you want. The drawing resources of the loaded template file are displayed in the left list.

Resources from Template

The sheet sizes, borders, titel blocks and sketch symbols from the loaded template are listed here. Use the 'Transfer' button to copy the definitions to the active drawing.

Unused Styles

All local style definitions that are not in use are listed here. The "Purge" button removes these styles from the drawing and runs the search again. By deleting the first found unused styles, it may happen that other styles are also identified as unused (because they were only referenced by one of the previously deleted styles, but not by the actual elements of the drawing). The "Purge Recursive" option allows you to remove not only the first unused styles, but also to repeat the search and delete the found results until no more unused styles are found.

Log Report

All copying and deleting operations in this dialog are logged and displayed in the list.
