Whats New 2026

Version 2026 introduced support for Autodesk Inventor 2026 and otherwise focused on stability: the licensing was reworked and numerous bugs were fixed.

Support for Inventor 2026​

Multitool is compatible with Autodesk Inventor 2026 while remaining functional with the older supported Inventor versions.

Licensing​

The licensing was updated – the callback is no longer used. Later in the release cycle, a bug in the license path was also fixed that prevented the add-in from loading on some installations.

NLog Conflict Fixed​

Newer Autodesk Inventor updates use NLog version 5.4.x, which caused conflicts with the Multitool add-in. The conflict has been resolved.

Further Improvements and Bug Fixes​

  • BOM export did not work on write-protected files.
  • Added missing translation for "Quick Insert."
  • Fixed error message when using the BOM export with a new configuration.
  • Fixed an error during export (PDF/DXF/STEP etc.) when the target folder did not exist.
  • Screenshot: display style was not correct.
  • Fixed replacement of title block definitions with identical names (different casing).
  • PDF export: fixed default name.
  • Fixed how the user's temp folder is determined.
  • Fixed various localization issues.
