Vault

The multitool has no connection to Vault. Therefore, it is not possible to find, for example, drawings using the print function if they are not actually available locally. They must be retrieved beforehand.

Managing Multitool Configuration with Vault

The multitool configuration can be moved to any location. It is also possible to include it in a Vault vault, which is recommended when using Vault.

Procedure:

The existing configuration can be copied from the path C:\ProgramData\Mensch und Maschine\Multitool_For_Inventor\Data to the local workspace folder of Vault.

It is necessary to change the storage location to this path in the Multitool. Please refer to the Settings in the "Storage Location" tab for instructions on how to do this.

Write Protection

Please note that after this, all files in Vault will be read-only, and checking them out will be necessary if any settings need to be modified.

All other users can access the checked-in files. However, it should be noted that these users will also need to adjust the Multitool settings. It is also possible to modify the Config.ini file located in the path C:\ProgramData\Mensch und Maschine\Multitool_For_Inventor\System and distribute it, for example, via batch.

The setting to be adjusted is called NetworkSettingsPath.
